Roboteam Highlights Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen's Visit
Roboteam hosted Senator Chris Van Hollen on December 8 at its headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
According to a media release, Senator Van Hollen met with Roboteam officials where they showcased their tactical ground robotics.
"Maryland is on the forefront of technological development and innovation, and I was able to see that firsthand during today's visit to Roboteam," said Senator Van Hollen. "Not only does Roboteam create good-paying Maryland jobs, the robotics they make are crucial to our Armed Forces. It was great to see the important work they're doing and meet their dedicated team today."
Senator Van Hollen's recent visit to Roboteam's headquarters took place during a tour of Maryland-based businesses in Montgomery County, Maryland. During his visit, Senator Van Hollen met Roboteam's predominantly military veteran staff, and witnessed Roboteam's commitment to creating jobs in the state of Maryland. Additionally, Senator Van Hollen got hands-on experience in Roboteam's technical lab with several tactical robotics.
